4-ingredient chocolate drizzled tahini stuffed dates

4-ingredient chocolate drizzled tahini stuffed dates

Another recipe this week guys! For some reason I have been feeling inspired in the kitchen. Also, for some reason, I’ve been craving dates. They are a perfect way to satisfy a sweet tooth, and you can add them to smoothies, use them in raw desserts, or stuff them like I’ve done in this recipe. These stuffed dates have only 4 ingredients. They are so easy to make and also so satisfying and impressive. If you have a potluck to go to I guarantee these will be a hit.

Ingredients

Medjool dates (as many as you’d like to make)

Almond butter

Tahini

Dark chocolate baking chips

Directions

So easy! Simply cut the dates down one side, take the pits out and lay them on parchment paper-lined plate or baking sheet open and face up. Next, place some almond butter into the opening of each date. Drizzle tahini down the middle over the almond butter. Place approx 1/4 cup of chocolate chips into a bowl and microwave stirring every 30 seconds until chocolate is melted. Take melted chocolate with a spoon and drizzle over dates. You could also pick up the dates and dip half of them into your melted chocolate. Place in the freezer for at least 1 hour and then enjoy. I store mine in the freezer and enjoy them when I want.

I LOVE these! If you choose vegan chocolate, these are vegan, plant-based, and paleo. They are a treat, but definitely a healthier treat. You could also experiment with subbing peanut butter instead of almond butter, placing a hazelnut or pistachio into the date, or stuffing dates with goat cheese and drizzling with honey. The reason I love dates is they’re so versatile.
