Simple Pleasure of the Week: Essential Oils

I’ve come to believe in the power of scent on our moods, our minds, and our emotions. I’ve also come to love essential oils. I diffuse them throughout the house, a different scent depending on what I’m needing. I have a rollerball in my desk drawer at work for headaches and one in my yoga bag for pre-yoga vibes. I love to add a couple drops of lavender essential oil to my night time face oil for the perfect bedtime ritual. The thing is, that essential oils are so simple but you can carry them with you wherever you go. They’re a lovely way to self-soothe when you’re needing some TLC! If you don’t have any essential oils, I recommend heading to your local health food store and checking them out. My favorite scents include lavender, peppermint, and orange! Happy Weekend!
